The Butcher’s Block is a full-service retail butcher shop and seafood market. Our mentality is very service-oriented and we want to make your request satisfying the first time around. We like to be very interactive with each customer, to be sure you leave happy with everything you buy and you’re getting exactly what you want with every visit. We staff butchers all hours of operation, so don’t hesitate to ask for a special cut if you don’t see what you are looking for in the retail cases (that’s what we are here for). We are happy to cut something to your specifications ie) thicker, thinner, fresher, deboned, tied, whatever you need, anything. If we do not have the resources at the time to fulfill your request, we will explore options of special ordering.
We go to great lengths to ensure continued quality in all of our products. Our goal is to provide you with the highest quality proteins available. If we are to ever fall short of your expectations, be sure to let us know. We are locally-owned and cherish the relationships we have established with all of our customers. The following list is an outline of some of the products we carry. It is by no means comprehensive. We special order A LOT of items. If you don’t see something you’re looking for, at least ask us the possibility of getting the item for you(in-store, or call (812.336.6328)). We’ll do our best to get the item for you, but please be aware of seasonality of items and minimum order of some offal proteins.
